About Us

WELCOME TO THE HONG KONG WATER SPORTS COUNCIL
 
The Hong Kong Water Sports Council (HKWSC) is a not-for-profit organization established in 2013 to provide a joint platform for the promotion of water sports in Hong Kong.  We represent the needs of water sports bodies to the Government and other organizations which can assist with the provision and funding of suitable sites and venues for the development and promotion of water sports.  We manage water sports centers and we coordinate and organize water sports events.
 

The Hong Kong Water Sports Council has been granted funding from the Sir David Trench Fund for Recreation (Main Fund) for 2016-17 to support its provision of boat launching facilities, floating pontoon, toilets and changing room facilities at Jockey Club Kai Tak Water Sports Centre under Special Project.​
